Maggie Frith is a passionate business owner, wife, and mother of three who also happens to be a Semi-Finalist from Season 4 of the Great Canadian Baking Show on CBC. After years of practicing law, Maggie left the legal profession behind to focus on her family and a dormant-too-long passion for baking.

Maggie created The Magpie Cakery to do two of her favourite things: gather people together and bake. There is nothing she loves more than being able to share her passion for baking…except maybe a muffin…but only really good muffin.

“Baking helped me feel alive and inspired as I recovered from “life after law”. It’s how I reconnected with family and friends, and it provided me with a unique way to help others celebrate special occasions. Now, I'm dedicated to inspiring others to find joy through the power of baking.”
