Hey, Budding Bakers, let’s stir up some baking magic! During a kid-focused event at The Magpie Cakery baking studio, we bake till we can bake no more without the messy kitchen drama. Choose from our delicious menu of fun featuring birthday parties with a wow-factor, kids’ workshops packed with laughter and learning, and seasonal camps where creativity and treats collide!
Birthday Parties
Every year brings birthdays, but picture this: a bash that dazzles the schoolyard but demands no prep or cleanup. It's the dream! Party-goers will be engaged, entertained, and educated as they learn to make a featured treat—one they’ll take home as the best-loot-bag-ever.
Maggie offers interactive and fun birthday parties for ages 7 and up. Pricing and timing varies by age, party size, and treat. All of our birthday parties include an extra hour in the event space to enjoy and celebrate! Bring your own extra food, decorations, and we’ll bring the candles to light up the treats your party-goers make!
Kids’ Workshops
Our PA Day and kids’ baking workshops are sure to be a hit for your Budding Bakers! They’ll learn, they’ll bake, they’ll laugh, and they’ll leave with a treat big enough for the whole family to share. Here at The Magpie Cakery, we encourage experimentation, explorations, and enjoyment at every step of the baking process.
Seasonal Camps
Choose a delicious blend of learning and fun at our supervised PA/PD Days, Summer and March Break Baking camps! Mini-pastry pros and Budding Bakers alike get cracking in the kitchen while unleashing their creativity and gaining confidence—plus, they get to eat the goodies they make (and take any leftovers home!)

Absolutely! We can accommodate most dietary restrictions...it's very important to The Magpie Cakery that everyone can have their treat and eat it too!

Yes! The Magpie Cakery can bring all the tasty fun to you at a location of your choice!
For example, many decorating events take place in the comfort of your own home. Additional travel fee may apply depending on distance.

To secure your date, we require a 50% deposit upon booking. A final invoice will be sent the day before your super fun and tasty event.

Our kids’ events run between 2 and 3.5 hours, depending on the baking item! Please reach out to us for details.

Yes! You can decorate the baking studio but it doesn’t need to be. If you want to enjoy the treats we just made during the event, we’ll provide the candles! If not, you can bring an additional cake to be enjoyed once the baking is done.
